Ela T I didn't like the script. I don't want to put any spoilers in here, so I will just say that the lead characters were feeble. They had no backbone. I didn't find this romantic at all. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I've seen this a few times and I primarily watched it the first time for Peri Gilpin of "Frasier". I ended up hating her character to be honest. The movie itself is okay. Jenn Liley is pretty good in this as is Brendon Penny. They make a good team Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Kendrick H I usually love these movies as entertaining, mindless fun but these two characters were highly unlikable, whiny and spineless. Ugh. Cannot get these two hours of my life back. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/06/21 Full Review Audience Member Typical Hallmark film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member I have watched a countless number of Romance movies and this was just overly cliché. The story was highly predictable, and it did not spark that excitement you should get from watching a romantic film. The acting was also not the greatest, it just didn't feel real enough. There were some parts in the movie that could have been expressed more passionately to create a stronger sense of realism. Don't get me wrong the actors were stunning, but the chemistry just wasn't there. Because the film industry is currently booming with overly unique and intriguing ideas, the script of A Dash of Love failed to stand out. It was cute, and there were many lessons to be learned, however, there are many movies that provide the same storyline and as a result, it fell short and lacked uniqueness. That in itself was extremely ironic to me because from what I understood "uniqueness" was one of the main themes in this movie. With that said, every movie teaches a lesson as it is an art, and the effort that goes into movies is far too great, not to give it a chance. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Sweet chemistry between the leads and a deliciously evil Peri Gilpin Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
