Joseph of Nazareth, the humble figure barely mentioned in the Bible, has attracted the attention of people all over the world. But why? What do we know about the real St. Joseph? In A FATHER'S HEART, the filmmakers searched over five continents for the people whose lives have been transformed by this mysterious man. Husband of Mary. Foster-Father of Jesus. Protector of the Church. Patron of the Dying. Terror of Demons. These are some of the titles attributed to this discreet and silent carpenter from Nazareth. The details of his earthly life may be a mystery, but the miracles that are attributed to him are life changing. A FATHER'S HEART features the powerful testimonies of those who have seen authentic miracles brought forth through the intercession of St. Joseph. From radical conversions to impossible cures; from the rebuilding of broken marriages, to aid to the dying -- this compelling documentary film reveals just who St. Joseph is and how he acts in the world today.

Joseph R Excellent job of portraying St. Josephs intersessory powers Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/08/23 Full Review Charles Encouragement to Catholic piety. Comprehensive look at devotional manifestations in the world today. I did not care for the exclusive Novus Ordo orientation of examples. The main reason why devotion to St. Joseph has been in decline for many decades is because of the lax piety promoted by the "Spirit of Vatican 2". Unless there is a return to traditional Latin Mass and the traditional Catechism of the Council of Trent, there will not be too much improvement in devotion to St. Joseph. This point is not made by the movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/05/23 Full Review S A Smith This documentary relied mostly on interviews, with some video footage of churches and pilgrimages. There was a lot of good information, but, honestly, it wasn't very entertaining. Therefore, I thought it was too long. I can understand they wanted to present the various aspects of St. Joseph, but after a while it became yet one more miracle and I became less and less enthused. I did walk away with a better understanding of the impact of St. Joseph in the church and learned quite a bit of new information. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/05/23 Full Review Noreen The story was very interesting Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/23 Full Review Jon Very informative but would have preferred language to be translated rather than captions. Advertised as 2 hr 5 min. It was 1 hr 5 min. Speakers could be heard softly in another language when narrator was not talking. Annoying.
