I was really confused, I thought I was watching a comedy halfway through the movie, the scenes drag on way too long, there’s no attempt to make you feel for any of the characters at any point, the widow doesn’t cry or show any sort of grief at any point outside of gorging on the pie, there’s so much here that leaves you confused as to what you’re actually watching. If this was a comedy this would have been a 10/10 masterpiece

A masterpiece that comes around once a decade. Do not listen to anyone with the attention span of a squirrel. This movie is art. It’s soulful. It treats the audience like an adult and not a baby. It leaves you to fill in your own meaning and connects you with the beyond not in words but with symbolism and if you aren’t touched by it, I feel like you don’t get touched by anything. 5 stars.

A film that could have delivered much more with its premise. More of an empty shell than anything of spirit. Burdened by long pauses, lack of emotion and one very shallow ‘philosophical’ dialogue, it was quite disappointing. It’s puzzling how this got such a high rating from the ‘critics’.
