Even with minimal action, it kept me locked in the whole time. The atmosphere & the quiet intensity did most of the work, & honestly that’s what made it so good. It held my attention better than half the loud movies out there. The setting was eerie in the best way, the pacing was intentional, & the subtle moments did more than any chase scene could. & of course, I love a vampire girl who just… walks away. It fit the tone perfectly. I’d give it a 88% 🍅

A feministic vampire vigilante that patrols the streets of Iran at night keeping men in line meets a gentleman with a strung-out father. This movie was alright, I wasn't expecting the Twilight romance.

More idiotic man hating garbage that paints men as being inherently evil simply because they are men. Idiotic trash like this is the reason modern filmmaking is in decline as modern feminists peddle their brain dead politics instead of actual compelling storytelling. Will definitely be actively avoiding Ms. Amirpour's work in the future.
