While we can all relate to family stories of loss and grief, love and drama, the way this movie takes us on a journey thought Tyler's life is simply beautiful. The camera work and the music work so well together with the story to create a gem of a movie. I have seen him in several movies outside of his work in daytime, and he makes me emotionally invested in everything he does. One can't help but think about one's mortality after watching this movie. Not to mention one's relationships with loved ones. None of us can really know when our time on earth is done, even if we are dealing with a terminal disease. Beautifully done and acted. However I did find the subject of assisted suicide that was brought into the movie unsettling. Doctors take an oath to "do no harm" and are in no position to play God with patients' lives. That is what saddened me most about this. But I vow to keep watching out for any future films Trevor and company will be doing. Trevor St. John allows us to feel through him, instead of watching a performance that tells us how to feel. I felt sad, nervous, disappointed, resigned, hopeful and more watching Tyler go through his day.
