Sherri Saum
With her striking face, tall stature, and commanding screen presence, it's no wonder that Sherri Saum was discovered by talent agents before she was even finished with high school. Born in Dayton, Ohio in 1974, Saum landed her first modeling contract at a Model Search America convention near her hometown. She began taking on modeling jobs mostly during her summer vacations, eventually enrolling at Ohio State University and later New York University. During this time, Saum transitioned from modeling to acting, booking her first TV role in 1997 as a star of the new soap "Sunset Beach" (NBC, 1997-1999). She would later play a recurring role on "One Life to Live" (ABC, 1968-2013), where she met her future husband, actor Kamar de los Reyes. Several memorable TV appearances would follow, including an appearance on "Charmed" (WB, 1998-2006) in 2001, for which she composed a song. Saum would earn particular acclaim for her portrayal of Natalie on the series "Rescue Me" (FX, 2004-2011), and Bess on the series "In Treatment" (HBO, 2008-2010). In 2013, Saum took on the role of Lena on the acclaimed series "The Fosters" (Freeform, 2013-), making her an even more famous and beloved face to thousands of fans.
