From the first scene, you know you’re not getting subtle horror, you’re getting a gleefully chaotic descent into madness, violence, and complete indie horror mayhem. Angela? She’s one of the wildest characters I’ve seen in a horror film in years. Forget Annie Wilkes , Angela makes Misery look like a Disney+ original. She’s unhinged, unpredictable, and absolutely magnetic. The film rides the line between horror and comedy with confidence, constantly escalating until you’re not sure whether to laugh, scream, or both. It’s a perfect storm of Halloween vibes, dinner table tension, and pure “what the hell am I watching” moments. Is it polished? Not always. Is it perfect? No. But does it rip? Absolutely. This is indie horror that knows what it is, doesn’t hold back, and dares you to keep watching. If you’re looking for something with cult potential and maximum energy; pull up a chair and dig in. A friend of mine suggested it might fall into the 'so bad it’s good' category, but I completely disagree. I actually think it’s a genuinely good film. While there are moments where the production feels a bit inconsistent—some scenes clearly had a bigger budget than others—the story held my attention from start to finish. See more Robert P Mar 16 This was fun and unpredictable, which for me, amounted to laughs about weird situations and unexpected inappropriate content most movies wouldn't even come close to because they all play way too safe these days... and a lot of mental exercise trying to figure out where this was going... not complaining. It's creative. Acting was good, overall entertaining... the bad: needed some better production design, wanted to see some characters more developed, could have been a bit shorter in the middle... low budget but delivers some better horror comedy than many known horror comedies that probably cost a lot more to make.
