Brett White Decider A Holiday Spectacular is a charming movie… as long as you don’t get hung up on cultural anachronisms. Nov 29, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Hilife Health Care r A Holiday Spectacular is a wonderful movie. Starring Ginna Mason it has magnificent production scenes and tells a great story. The supporting cast and direction are all excellent. Be sure to see this 5 star movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/24 Full Review J F Great little movie except I hate when they aren't historically correct. The Rockettes were all about everyone looking the same so the very dark black woman they cast in there really sticks out. The legs & stockings aren't the same as the rest of the group so the odd one out is all you notice. " The Rockettes did not allow dark-skinned dancers into the dance line until 1987. The justification for this policy was that such women would supposedly distract from the consistent look of the dance group." the one they did finally let in was a stand in for a few years. I hate when Hollywood has to be diverse to everyone in a historical drama. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/20/23 Full Review Trish M This is the sweetest fun Christmas movie ever! It's not sickening sweet or even super Christmasy. The acting is good, the script, the scenery and the clothes are fun. I guarantee you will smile through the entire show. Only wish it was available to buy or watch on Hallmark off season. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Well done, well acted, well written. A few minor flaws. There were no African-Americans in the Rockettes until 1989. Watching someone carry a plastic laundry basket before plastic was invented, bad miss. Seeing the NBC peacock 40 years before it was designed; another bad miss. Overall, very engaging story. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Michi I Good story, just dont think I was keen on the message that lying ultimately gets rewarded, but at the same time I understood why. Probably would not include on my rotation of future Christmas movies though. I did watch it all the way thru, and even rewound when I missed something that made no sense. Check it out at least once. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/29/22 Full Review Dana This is a cut above in every way. One of the very best Hallmark has done. Great acting, dancing, direction. And it was shot beautifully. Hit just the right note for the 1950s setting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/28/22 Full Review Read all reviews
