Benjamin Gummery Indie Mac User Munro is reasonably likeable and entertaining in the lead role but i'm not convinced that alone is enough to carry the film and the dialogue and flow seems a little wooden throughout. Audience Member A Legacy of Whining is a buddy movie of two middle aged friends who meet up after 30 years, more or less right within their midlife crisis, trying to cope with the changing world around them. The result is a hilarious journey through awkward late night adventures, which put our protagonists in somewhat precarious situations. The movie doesn't take itself too seriously and therefore makes for really good entertainment if you enjoy such stories. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A Legacy of Whining is a unique indie comedy from director, and actor, Ross Munro. The film and its script have an original sense of humor that I enjoyed. The plot concerns two middle aged friends who meet up after 30 years and get themselves into some unusual situations late one night. The film excels in embracing awkward comedy and not taking itself too seriously. This indie find really goes for it and doesn't hold back. I genuinely appreciate little indie comedies like these. I'd recommend A Legacy of Whining to anyone who also enjoys unique indie comedies as well. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member A happy, sensitive, and very down to earth, fictional comedy about two old high school classmates who get together after a long period of three decades. They are both of completely opposite mindsets and do not always agree on everything but their genuine and loyal friendship is what holds their story to the end. It's funny with some sad moments naturally timed in but overall, I found it to be pretty joyful to watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member A breeze of fresh air when it comes to comedy, one of those that is not afraid of letting you take in each scene, to really get to know the characters. Fun characters, unique settings and great performances! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Quirky somewhat Woody Allen comedy. My favorite section has the three revolutionary babes - that was quite original and memorable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Cool little indie flick from the Land of Hosers that delivers a lot of laughs as we follow the comically mismatched former high school friends on their 30 years later meltdown of a reunion. Has an early Woody Allen "Bananas/Take The Money and Run" vibe with its constant onslaught of verbal jokes and biting sarcasm. If you like low budget indie films with Humor and heart I can fully recommend this film! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
