Paul G Couldn't take my eyes away. Bobby Love is a force in this movie and there isn't a scene or frame with him in it that wont leave your jaw on the floor. A Moment For Love is one of the most unique movies I think I have ever seen and I think it's possible there wont be another one like it unless Bobby makes a sequel. The costuming and set design is up there with some of the greats and the surreal nature of how it is incorporated into the story gives this film it's own ethereal quality. For those of you who are wondering whether to give this movie a shot, just watch the first 10 minutes and you'll be in for the whole thing. But it’s also a story with heart: an empowering message about love and authenticity that stays with you long after the credits roll. Uplifting, stylish, and full of spirit. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/11/25 Full Review Film F Heartfelt, original, and full of the eye-catching fashions of Bobby Love! It creates its own fairy-tale world unlike any other film I've seen, and even has soulful original songs. Check it out for a different and unexpected film experience, Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/02/25 Full Review Lu L A Moment For Love was unlike anything I expected—and that's what made it so special. At first, I wasn’t sure what I had stepped into. The world of Bobby Love, an eccentric fashion designer living in a castle in L.A., felt outrageous, campy, and completely outside my comfort zone. The costumes were really wide, as a film person I appreciated that a lot. But as the story unfolded, I found myself drawn in—not by the glitter or glam, but by the heart at the center of it all. Beneath the sequins and satire is a sincere story about love, acceptance, and the beauty of chosen family. By the end, I wasn’t just enjoying the outrageous costumes—I was enjoyi the story it self. This film might not be for everyone, but if you give it a chance, you’ll find a touching, joyful story about self-discovery and the magic of embracing people just as they are. It is absolutely worth the watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/17/25 Full Review Artie S A Moment For Love is an outrageous, campy delight that revels in its own eccentricity. This offbeat comedy, destined for cult classic status, follows a flamboyant singer-songwriter who stumbles into the vibrant world of a fashion designer and his magical, chosen family. The film wears its heart on its sequined sleeve, embracing themes of acceptance, reinvention, and the joy of found family. What it lacks in subtlety, it more than makes up for in bold stylistic choices, outrageous costumes, and a soundtrack that’s equal parts glam, disco, and pure glitter-fueled joy. While the plot veers into the absurd, that’s part of the charm. The over-the-top performances, melodramatic dialogue, and surreal sequences blur the line between satire and sincerity. It’s a film that knows exactly what it is—and doesn’t apologize for it. If you’re looking for realism, this isn’t it. But if you want a heartfelt, high-camp journey through sequins, self-discovery, and show-stopping musical numbers, A Moment For Love delivers an unforgettable ride. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/10/25 Full Review Chad R This movie was suggested as a moment to try something different and enter a fascinating and colorful world, completely foreign to me. The movie revolves around Bobby Love, an eccentric fashion designer who lives in a castle in L.A. and the people who are drawn to him. At first, I felt out of my comfort zone but as I watched, the calming force for me and I think the center of the story is Bobby himself. Beneath the glamour, posh, and outlandish outfits is a simple man of love. Quite fitting. I liked the story because of this. The writer never strayed from the central theme of loving and caring for each other. The story gives an example of how we can change our perspective. In the beginning, the outfits were too outlandish, headwear over the top and simply too much for me. By the end of the movie, I was admiring a headdress Bobby was wearing that depicted a man rowing a gondola in Venice, Italy. Flashy yet perfectly fit. I rooted for the happy ending and rewarded. Definitely worth a watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/01/25 Full Review Read all reviews
