Synopsis
Anna (Sheila McCarthy), a promising young scholar, receives a short-term teaching appointment at a small college. Once in the ivory tower of academia, Anna finds love -- and an intellectual equal -- when she falls for her brilliant, graying colleague, Ian MacGregor (Barry MacGregor). The two grow closer as the weeks wear on, but when time runs out on Anna's position, she struggles to choose between her love for the aging professor and her deep desire to continue her search for tenure elsewhere.
