Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru A spellbinding, well-edited and engrossing documentary. Oct 27, 2023 Full Review Alton Williams Battle Royale With Cheese Ukraine fought back and continues to fight back through the pain. But, one wishes this documentary was put together in a way that doesn’t wander to get it all across. Mar 7, 2023 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat Ruslan Batytskyi and Lesya Kalynska have made something intimate yet broad in scope, heartwarming but frustrating, educational and tense at the same time, funny as well as shocking. In every conceivable way, this is a perfect film. Rated: 10/10 Feb 13, 2023 Full Review Dallas King Flick Feast the documentary provides the audience with a real human connection to the struggle and builds a strong emotional response to the unfolding drama. Rated: 3/5 Jan 21, 2023 Full Review Christopher Machell CineVue This is far from a perfect documentary Pavlo and Svitlana could have been presented with more depth. But it is also a resolutely personal film, with a bitterly painful close. Batytskyi and Kalynska’s title is bang on: there is profound fury here. Rated: 3/5 Jan 17, 2023 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com A Rising Fury is mesmerizing and unforgettable cinema precisely because amidst all this war we are never allowed to forget that these are human beings.
