Antonia S I'm a sucker for Hallmark-type movies, especially Christmas ones, but this was painful to watch. Acting/script was awful. Avoid. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review Audience Member I cant believe Hallmark would hire Ingo Rademacher while he is suing ABC networks for being fired from General Hospital because he didn’t like their policy of mandatory vaccination for anyone on set during a worldwide pandemic that killed 18.5 million people. On top of that, they also hired the actress Haley Pullos, a convicted felon who was drunk while driving, crashed into another person, severely injuring them and then fleeng the scene. Not very royal behavior from both of these bad actors who think rules do not apply to them. The lead actress in this film, Tara Ried was uncomfortable to watch with her unhealthy appearance and voice that sounds like she smokes 5 packs of cigarettes a day. The only two that made this film bearable was the performance from Faune Chambers Watkins and Mykel Shannon Jenkins. Hallmark needs to ditch the others and make a movie with these two actors that actually make you want to keep watching. Finally, dont feature the iconic Coronodo hotel as your establishing shot for a LA beach resort. Everyone knows its located in San Diego. 🙄 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review Daniel N David DeCotinau, visionary, auteur, and master of filmmaking spins an incredible tale of magic, mystery, and intrigue. Charles must find his daughter and rescue her from the clutches of a dastardly Au Pair-Nanny-Ambassador-Business Manager before she uses her to enact a coup de tat and supplant him on the throne. Together with Tara Reid, he discovers his daughter and together they all travel back to Michael Boltania Land. The best part of the movie is surprise appearance of Dwayne the Rock Johnson as a Ninja Assassin in act 3. It was a surprise treat. A must watch, and I hope it is added to the Criterion Collection soon. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/25/24 Full Review Andrea S I do watch Hallmark type Christmas movies even though they are all the same. They are light and entertaining, but this was the worst. The acting was awful. So awkward to watch. I was embarrassed for them. Sam and Ava were very cheesy. Not natural. The weird skipping from scene to scene after only a few seconds in each scene was amateur. I am so sorry I wasted a good hour and a halfish on this. “Allison” looked stoned throughout and appeared to be reading her lines from a moniter. No expression. No one would have come back for this person after 17 years. She presented herself as cheap common trailer trash and her daughter would not have turned out that well. Rotten movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/11/24 Full Review Maria K What is wrong with Tara Reid? She looks like she is an alcoholic. She has the face and the body of one. I hope she can get the help she needs. But until then, she needs to stop embarrassing herself and not be in any movies or films or even commercials. I know these types of films are all the same, but man, this one had the worst acting I have seen in quite a while. Noone was in sync with each other. Tara, please stop using whatever "drug" you are using, gain a few pounds, and then learn to stand up straight. Currently you look like you are a trailer court's personal good time gal. Yuck!!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Audience Member First of all, I'm not sure what these other reviewers were expecting. It is, by its very nature, a made-for-tv cheesy holiday movie. Christmas decorations, a dash of royalty with a hint of a weird foreign accent from some made up country, a regular girl suddenly becoming a princess, and a ball! Yes, it's formulaic. Were you expecting a cinematic masterpiece? If so, that's your own mistake. It's meant to be cheesy, formulaic, with sub par acting, and barely known actors. This is how they churn out so many in a year. And to the reviewer who said it was a Hallmark movie--- it wasn't. You're wrong. It was for UP TV. Maybe do some research.
