It was actually 'A Star Is Born' (1976) with Barbra Streisand & Krist Krisrofferson. This was the best version. Way better than the 2018 Lady Gaga. I LOVE Barbra Streusand. Music was wonderful. Acting wonderful.

I was repulsed and unconvinced by every scene in this amateurish, terrible movie. Neither “star” gives a realistic performance- you can see they’re watching themselves act. Gaga has no range as an actor and only slightly more as a singer. She’s playing herself—which isn’t enough to nail the portrayal of a shooting star. Cooper was so bad- it was like an actor watching himself act in a mirror
