Turtly disappointing, turtly sanctimonious in its eco message, and turtly derived from Finding Nemo. Go to Full Review

The color palette and the movement of the characters also serve as an attraction for the little ones, who are undoubtedly destined for The Adventures of Sammy, but their companions can also enjoy it. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

far too reminiscent of films that have gone before it and suffers from being overly didactic about its environmental themes. Go to Full Review

Tomato B. @GummyBee 1d Honestly, this movie does a LOT of things that you just don’t see often. It’s such a cool concept to follow the entire life of a character, see what they go through, see all of the wars, and cultures a simple turtle encountered. I love the idea because there are a lot of old animals on this planet that, if they could talk, could tell amazing stories about what they have witnessed through human history from the side lines. The problem is, the animation, you could tell, wasn’t ready to take on such a difficult task of sand, water, etc. it’s clear they very much overwhelmed themselves with what they tried to accomplish. It was obviously a low budget movie, voice acting isn’t exactly the best, and animation is sub-par, but it’s very different than most movies put out. I love what they tried to do, and I really hope that someday that movie gets a re-imagined/remastered version because I know confidently it would be a big hit if they did it correctly.
