See if you think THIS movie is so God awful bad..... You haven't been through the last 10 yrs. Of Hallmark, Lifetime, and now GAF Crap Shooters !!! One reviewer got one thing right. This is how an American tries to wrap their heads around a trading English Christmas. Now if you know anything about anything, you know that it's mostly made up except for the beautiful scenery..... And YES .... Just for the sake of the movie I want to see a Steam engine pull the train, just like in Harry Potter .... !!! Im 70 yrs. Old east American .... The Actresses American accent was Spot on ... ! One or two giveaways here or there... I LIKE THE BIG TOUGH GUY being soft and emotional . It was an unusual casting mix. The little girl was a bit precocious , but totally lovable, and her calling the lead Sweety back to her was a freaking Joke people ....On purpose ! The dumb writing flaws of making the lead an Opera Singer of all things, when it has nothing to do with anything is just Stupid .... A writer, artist, poet, hairdresser has an ounce of believability. At least she wasn't another Lawyer, or CEO like the American stuff ... Look , it's a British feel good Christmas Piece, let's knock off burying it for that reason !
