The music isn’t half bad, and the brothers do come off as charming. Go to Full Review

The Brothers Jonas fold several songs into the film's scant 80-minute runtime, which is a holiday treat unto itself. Go to Full Review

The humor is self-deprecating, the setting international, the weather wintry, the company good. Go to Full Review

A Very Jonas Christmas Movie appeals only to die hard fans as most casual viewers will be disappointed by the decision to sing predominantly non-Holiday music in a Christmas musical. Go to Full Review

It’s not A Hard Day’s Night, but the Jonas Brothers have been performing for a long time. They have natural chemistry together, and they’re very comfortable on camera. Go to Full Review

Highlights - Fun Premise: Santa grounds the Jonas Brothers in Europe until they fix band drama. - Great Chemistry: Brothers' banter and self-aware humor shine; Chloe Bennet is charming. - Catchy Music: Original songs like "Coming Home This Christmas" are holiday highlights. Criticisms - Chaotic Plot: Random obstacles and vague "Santa's curse" drag runtime. - Tacked-On Cameos: Stars like Will Ferrell feel unnecessary. - Tonal Whiplash: Swings between family drama and slapstick comedy jar. Verdict A harmless, silly gift for fans. Catchy tunes and brotherly banter justify a stream. Recommended for JoBros fans or musical holiday distraction seekers. If that's not your thing, then maybe it's not for you. If you love a lighthearted movie with a lot of laughs, you'll love it, whether you're a Jonas Brothers fan or not :) There are plenty of easter eggs for fans, but you don't need to catch them to enjoy the movie. There are just a few things that are funny on the surface, but a little bit funnier if you know the back story. It's not like watching a sequel without seeing the original. It's more like watching standalone movie. You go in not knowing the characters, but they do a great job of introducing the characters and their dynamic without too much exposition. It's The Princess Bride of feel-good Christmas movies. Family, love story, trying to get home for Christmas, Will Ferrell, romance, music, explosions (plural), Santa magic, wolves, Kevin McCallister, everything. And it’s absolutely hilarious :) On top of being absolutely hilarious, it has a solid plot that's so genuine and relatable. Sure, there are plenty of "getting home for Christmas" movies, but they own it. Nick even says, "NO ONE can miss Christmas. Have you ever seen a Christmas movie? It's literally the entire plot of the film!" But it's not a cookie cutter. They really made it their own. Also, Chloe Bennet was the PERFECT casting choice! I wanted to play twister with my boyfriend and he was watching this stupid movie and while i was not playing twister i was watching these weird guys being cursed by "Santa" (bro what) and listen to their repetitive annoying music. My boyfriend is banned from tv for atleast 3 years. Do not watch.🫩 See more Read all reviews
