Wendy Michener Maclean's Magazine The basic plot is nasty enough, but the dialogue is even nastier. As usual, all this escapes censorship under false pretences, not the least of which is that A Very Special Favor is funny. Jul 16, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member A somewhat funny, somewhat creepy sex farce that revolves around Charles Boyer trying to get his daughter, Leslie Caron, laid by Rock Hudson. They torture the poor girl for the better part of an hour before she finally gets her revenge. The whole affair is so filthy that it's no wonder Doris Day turned it down. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member It's not very good...not to mention unfunny, contrived, and misogynistic. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
