Audience Member This movie tries to be a lot more than it is. It has a good message at it's heart but so much of it is muddled down by poor writing and mediocre acting. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Well-intentioned, but preachy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I created an account with Rotten Tomatoes just to comment on this movie. I'm an avid movie buff in my free time and after watching this I'd have to unequivocally say this is one of the worst films I have ever watched. Initially it started out with an altruistic feel to it. But it quickly turned into incredulous jingoist propaganda. This movie was produced in 2011, well after the Iraq War. We now know that there were no WMDs yet the producer/writer/director is unapologetic in his dogmatic approach to castigating any "bleeding heart liberal" who doesn't show respect to American troops who were fighting for American freedom. Such a shocking display of tea party mantra. It seems America have gotten to the point where ANY war is justifiable and no American should argue otherwise lest he risks being called unpatriotic. Is that freedom? Maybe the writer/producer/director feels this way. I'd throw a tomato at the screen but my television is new. Awful.
