Sheri Linden Los Angeles Times A chaste young-adult romance that bites into supernatural melodrama, science fiction and political conspiracy theories. Rated: 3/5 Nov 30, 2012 Full Review William Schwartz HanCinema In excellent subversive faction, it's the feral boy that really connects with the viewer on screen. Feb 19, 2021 Full Review James Plath Movie Metropolis More sensitive than sensational, 'A Werewolf Boy' is an interesting hybrid of the 'Twilight' saga, 'Frankenstein,' and 'Beauty and the Beast.' But there are touches here that make it purely Korean. Rated: 7/10 Aug 1, 2013 Full Review Diva Velez TheDivaReview.com Drenched in fairy tale romance and beautifully acted with one of the screen's most charismatic teen couples, I'll take A Werewolf Boy's sweet, quiet charms over the overwrought, turgid Twilight films and their CGI puppies any day. Rated: 4/5 Feb 20, 2013 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International We'll take this warmly directed, deeply affecting supernatural romance over the entire synthetic Twilight series any day. Audience Member Sensational! Good actors and a beautiful story line, you could feel the love of the characters. A very lovely and sad story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The best Korean movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Sangat memilukan, cerita yang sangat segar untuk ditonton. Aku terkesan menonton songjoongki seakan akan dia terlalu kuat untuk tidak berbicara. Kamu terbaik!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member A beautiful and genuine feel-good fantasy drama that pleases all sorts of audience. This Korean film boasts wonderful locations, beautiful cast and a pleasant story that prove worthy of your time. If you're a fan of fantasy/romance, this film would surely captivate you. It's breezy locations, beautiful cinematography and pleasant progression makeup for the 2 and half hours long runtime. I did feel that the movie could've been trimmed down to under 2 hours, but it was worth the journey. It might be slow here and there, but trust me, it will make you feel so good in the end.  The werewolf transformation wasn't overused which I feel was the best thing that could've happened for this film. I was happy to see that they didn't veer off to explain to us how he actually got the ability and the usual superhuman mumbo jumbo but they used that aspect in a rather confined tone to our liking.  The romance portion was genuine and never goes over-the-top or corny. The poignancy in the plot does move us a bit and eventually holds a special place in our hearts. This is a lovely drama that would definitely make your Sunday afternoon an enjoyable one. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I really like this movie, where can I watch this movie? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review roji a This is a magnificent movie that narrates a beautiful story of the relationship between a young girl and a feral boy - the boy's devotion is more akin to that of a loving pet than that of a love interest.... This will rank among my favourite Korean movies of all time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
