Despite the tomato review I found this movie very enjoyable, from the sad origin of the wizard to his redemption as well as the way it destroyed the cliche of princess and hero falling instantly in love as they actually acknowledge they just met and will need to take some time. If you approach this movie with an open mind you will find it is surprisingly original and unique and spins every situation in a way not really seen in any other modern fairy tales. The unique locations and ever changing backdrop and characters plus the great variety of locations and characters really helps the story seem to be full and I recommend this movie to any who want a new fairy tale that is original. Even the art style is unique and different then the cookie cutter modern kids/family fairy tales movies.

Bem fofo, gráficos lindos e colorido, até minha afilhada suspirou "que lindo" quando iniciou o filme com cenários coloridos, uma pena não ter dublado para os baixinhos não bilíngues… Muitas cores vibrantes, para ilustrar o "Era uma vez" de princesa nada convencional, ou no limite da convenção, com magos e príncipes por acaso, tudo muito fofinho, com moral lindinha...
