polly b As we are soon spending a couple of months in this region of France I was pleased to see this movie. It is remarkable in the stories it shares and the elevated education it provides on this wine making region. We are even more excited about our upcoming stay as a result plus we feel more prepared to appreciate the wines and vineyards, whether they're or at home. If you enjoy wine this movie provides very enjoyable information and heightened appreciation to your enjoyment. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review s r A well made documentary showing the Burgundy wine region and a few of its wineries and their production. It was interesting to learn about what issues they face and their culture surrounding the industry. I was interested in more of the aspects following the production and what their stuff cost, but they only alluded about that aspect, but never actually gave the info. It was on Amazon. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review martijn t Great view on the tradition, craft and passion of some of the best winemakers in Burgundy that make some of the world's most amazing wines. The only down-side are the final scenes where very fat, rich, privileged people in the US get to drink the magic potion. Understandably that's the case when amazing wines meet high demand under very low supply. But I certainly don't need it to be rubbed under my nose this way. But I salute the deep love, skills and passion of the winemakers. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Kind of old school & straight-forward in it's doc-making but it is fascinating to see all the history of such a small region. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member It's not bad, and despite an interesting premise, it ultimately is too slow to keep audiences entertained through the slower parts of the wine business. Needed more pep in the story to keep it flowing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting, but I liked the sommelier doc better.
