It is one of the most bizarre films that I have seen in my life. The most horrifying too.The most erotic too. The most exotic love story that I can come across of now. The most compelling narrative.The most terrifying characters. The most nauseating idea.This is the first Assamese film that I have watched which I won't forget.A highly recommended film to watch out.

Aamis (aka Ravening) is a must watch... for all of us who have loved & lost , loved & found , loved & consumed , loved & desired & left it that way.... basically loved. if you have loved Bertolucci's 'Besieged' , Ang Lee's 'Eat Drink Man Woman' or Nagisa Oshima's 'In The Realm of the Senses'... then this is your film! Tender yet unsettling. A tale of Transgression, dissent & disruption. It is Beautiful, Dark, Macabre! Crafted with love and aided by some sharp screenplay writing! Hazarika's Nirmali - played with grace and an immersive ease by the gorgeous Lima Das - stuns you as it brings an amazing dignity to an edgy, and often questionable character. She mirrors the empathy in his Gaze. Aamis can be watched on moviesaints.com/aamis.
