Hugo S After a blood transfusion turns his son into a vampire, a single father runs against the clock to save his child from eternal damnation. "Aaron's Blood" is a vampire tale mostly interested in exploring a heartbreaking event in the context of parenthood. However, the movie fails to create in the viewer the emotional resonance it aims for, despite the relationship between father and son being at times convincing. The dull script and the uneven acting make this indie horror movie a forgettable experience. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/19/25 Full Review Solomon K This wasn't a bad film, but it was like a vampire movie that was also an afterschool special. It had some good moments but I'd never watch it again. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/11/24 Full Review Audience Member not that scary, its slow too. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member There are a few areas of Aaron's Blood I would have liked to see more thoroughly explored, primarily what it meant to Tate to go through his ordeal, and how he reacted to it, but for the most part, the only problems with Aaron's Blood are those caused by budgetary constraints. I know that there's not a lot to be done about those, but the end result is some palpable potential that unfortunately has to go by the way side, leaving an "only okay" movie in its place.
