Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express The lead couple has a moment or two, but doesn't spark overall. Rated: 2/5 Dec 13, 2017 Full Review Anupama Chopra Hindustan Times The film, however, never becomes more than the sum of its parts. Aashiqui 2 falls into that lukewarm category of 'I didn't mind it,' which is not the same as 'I liked it.' It could have been so much more. Rated: 2.5/5 Dec 13, 2017 Full Review Anna M.M. Vetticad annavetticadgoes2themovies ... lacklustre direction, amateurish writing, apathetic editing and unappealing acting. Rated: 1/5 Jan 31, 2021 Full Review Madhureeta Mukherjee The Times of India This could be good soup for the lovers' soul - with a dash of old-world flavour. Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 13, 2017 Full Review Saibal Chatterjee NDTV Fluffy and flaky, Aashiqui 2 is simply not peppy enough to paper over its cracks. Rated: 1.5/5 Dec 13, 2017 Full Review Rachit Gupta Filmfare For each of these cringe worthy moments, Aashiqui 2 also has honest and effective scenes of passion and drama. The thought behind this film is perfect. But the execution tries too hard to put it in line with the original. Dec 13, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews
