Robert Abele Los Angeles Times "Abandoned Mine" is all that its title promises: something generic and empty, with the sense that much has been left behind. Rated: 1/5 Aug 15, 2013 Full Review John Fink The Film Stage The film is not without its moments, but it delivers what is to be expected: some minor PG-13 horror thrills with the minimum amount of blood and terror. Rated: D+ Jun 28, 2016 Full Review Maitland McDonagh Film Journal International ...it delivers a handful of creepy moments and the opening-credits montage of old newspaper accounts of the Jarvis family's fate is genuinely disturbing. Garrett B Dumbest movie ever. Horrible acting, horrible plot, and the way the film was shot. Ridiculously stupid. We're they all meant to be mentally challenged??? Would have given 0 stars of possible. Waste of my time and breath. A girl in scrubs, no climbing equipment, no experience, a fat ass who can't fit through a crevice, a butt ugly quarterback,..cast was idiotic. Movie was absolutely shit Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/27/23 Full Review don s Against all logic, I enjoyed this PG-13 Halloween centered horror movie. The director achieved a moody atmosphere down in the mines. The story is clunky and the reveal really wasn't anything that a grade schooler couldn't guess, but the actors were genuine in their portrayals and somehow it just clicked for me. Nothing new or spectacular by any means, but it was watchable which is more than I can say for the last handful of horror movies I've seen. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Stupid and horrible end Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Moments of creepiness, but overall just wasn't entertaining enough for me to recommend it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review farah r Another lame cliche teenage horror. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie is well written and directed.. not violent, but very well paced, acted and directed, if nothing else, great fun for the entire family...
