Anton Bitel Sight & Sound Once again, this format proves as much a curse as a blessing. Yet the variety that makes the collection so uneven is also its best asset. Jan 2, 2015 Full Review Jordan Hoffman Guardian Each film is too short to be really satisfying, but the iTunes shuffle-style format ensures you're rarely bored. You don't like the entry for the letter G? Don't worry, H will be here any minute. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 31, 2014 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com There are a few little masterful strokes here, though enjoying them feels a bit like trudging through a bargain bin. Rated: 2/5 Sep 6, 2019 Full Review James Clay Fresh Fiction Hopefully, in the future, the franchise continues to improve, but not many people are demanding an ABCs OF DEATH 3 other than hoards of Fantastic Fest-ers. Logan D Twenty-six stories of weirdness and horror. Following a wonderful pop-up book opening sequence, the viewer will be subjected to a variety of films from 26 directors around the country. I'd say this one is more weird than the previous film. Overall, enjoyed most of them. My faves are D, E, H, and T. Half of the short films were not even “horror”. And the other half weren’t memorable. There might be only 2 shorts that stood out to me. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I can't understand why this movie was more liked than its predecessor. Y was the only one I could watch again, the rest take themselves way too seriously. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Much much better than part 1. This time there were 8 shorts that I thought were good. And the bad ones weren't nearly as bad as the comparable ones in part 1. For reference: Capital Punishment - very very good Equilibrium - funny Masticate - funny Roulette - good Split - very very good Vacation - crazy Xylophone - trippy Zygote - trippy Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member So I'm going to review this movie like I reviewed the first I will rated each of the 26 skits on a scale of 1 to 10 and then give My overall grade up above then a little discussion at the end O.K here we go! A is for Amateur 4/10 B is for Badger 3/10 C is for Capital Punishment 5/10 D is for Deloused 7/10 E is for Equilibrium 6/10 F is for Falling 3/10 G is for Granddad 7/10 H is for Head Games 5/10 I is for Invincible 2/10 J is for Jesus 7/10 K is for Knell 5/10 L is for Legacy 1/10 M is for Masticate 5/10 N is for Nexus 2/10 O is for Ochlocracy 6/10 P is for P-P-P-P-Scary 2/10 Q is for Questionnaire 5/10 R is for Roulette 7/10 S is for Split 6/10 T is for Torture Porn 5/10 U is for Utopia 5/10 V is for Vacation 6/10 W is for Wish 6/10 X is for Xylophone 4/10 Y is for Youth 3/10 Z is for Zygote 5/10 So in the end it was slightly better than the first movie most of the are pretty cool like D is for Deloused but some are pretty painful to watch like L is for Legacy and some are just odd in a good way like on G is for Granddad or in A bad way like in Y is for Youth, so if you are going to watch an ABCs of Death movie watch this one but I really don't recommend either of them.
