David Stratton The Australian ...one of those irritating local films in which all the Australian actors adopt American accents. Rated: 2/5 Oct 5, 2018 Full Review Jake Wilson The Age (Australia) This amateurish local try at a fantasy for teenagers is a transparently bad movie, but bad in a disorientating, vaguely psychedelic way, obeying laws peculiarly its own. Rated: 1.5/5 Oct 2, 2018 Full Review Rhys Tarling Isolated Nation Harmony is a miserable experience without a speck of momentum or originality. Rated: 1/5 Sep 26, 2019 Full Review Sarah Ward Flicks (AU, NZ, UK) Like an emo music video stretched out to feature length. Rated: 1/5 Jan 28, 2019 Full Review Dov Kornits FILMINK (Australia) Let Harmony wash over you; it will touch and reward you. Rated: 17/20 Oct 7, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Haley S This movie was amazing and I LOVED it. Didn't want it to end. Low budget, so doesn't have all the bells & whistles of Hollywood studio movies, but totally charming, sweet and interesting. Not a typical "formula" sci-fi movie. I'm so bored with time travel movies about ppl wanting to change their past! I can't stomach another time travel movie anytime soon.......................... This has completely different concept, like why not try to change the present & future! And, it's presented in an understated way. It has flaws, but none made me like it any less. Like when a person you love has "imperfections", but you see them as "cute" & "adorable" bc it's what makes them human and unique. That's how I felt about Absolution- Harmony....................... I'm so bummed about the tragedy of the lead actress! So sorry for her loved ones. And that the other 4 movies probably won't be made be of that. But, hey Hollywood, put some $ into buying the rights to them and get the other 4 made! Make them and ppl will watch. Don't listen to the critics, watch the movie and fall in love with the characters. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/05/25 Full Review Pam H I loved this movie! I actually know someone that can take darkness off people just like Jessica. What an amazing movie! I highly recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/14/24 Full Review 99 B You have to be DEPRESSED/ANXIETY to understand this movie then it becomes a huge HIT/LiFe SAVER! otherwise you will miss the meaning... Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/31/24 Full Review Audience Member Just no on all levels. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/20/23 Full Review Audience Member "Harmony" (released on U.S. cable television as "Absolution") is much more compelling than the negative reviews of the majority of professional critics would suggest. A creative plot about neuroatypical celestials sent to heal not the body but the mind, solely through the power of physical absolution and acts of love, was acted by a uniformly memorable cast -- including the lead actress, Jessica Falkholt, in her only movie role prior to her tragic death. Playing angelically pure human-incarnated protagonists in a war of willpower against the worst darkness in humanity (strikingly embodied in a villainous role reminiscent of a carnival mirror version of a young Kirk Douglas, played by Eamon Farren), the movie carries the viewer through the confusion of self-discovery and unwavering commitment to be humane even at the greatest of costs.
