Audience Member Gripping serial killer murder mystery. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review thomas l Interesting characters and a slow building murder mystery dissolves into a unconvincing late reveal, slasher film that takes out more then just teenagers. Too bad. Watch Joel Edgerton in 'Animal Kingdom'. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not scary but a pretty good tale. Its a group of 3 teens against 2 separate antagonists. Theres some unexpected twists and outcomes. The acting is really good and the vibe is quite dark. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Violent, with an uneven screenplay. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A great serial killer thriller. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member A clever little plot twist in the third act spices up the film. Tonally consistent throughout but lacking in momentum in stretches and overuse of the cheap jump cut horror trick Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jim Schembri The Age (Australia) The performances from the young cast are a tad bland, but director Jon Hewitt infuses his low-budget genre jolter with just enough menace as it powers towards an effective, if predictable, climax. Rated: 3/5 May 1, 2009 Full Review David Stratton At the Movies (Australia) Unfortunately, after a strong first half, the film degenerates into some messily unconvincing blood-letting which might attract devotees of the genre but which is disappointingly conventional given what's come before. Rated: 3/5 Apr 17, 2009 Full Review Simon Foster sbs.com.au When Edgerton's killer begins to toy with (Sebastian Gregory's) Mark, it's like watching a cat play with a mouse - it's sad but you don't really care. Let the cat have his fun... Aug 9, 2010 Full Review Anders Wotzke Moviedex Cleverly twisted, gut-wrenching Aussie thriller. Rated: 4/5 Aug 1, 2009 Full Review Jason Di Rosso MovieTime, ABC Radio National The bleak suburban setting and the mischievous, if somewhat downbeat adolescent lead characters recall Gus Van Sant's oeuvre, though Hewitt doesn't achieve anywhere near the same degree of nuance. Apr 17, 2009 Full Review Colin Fraser FILMINK (Australia) A requisite number of gory, slashing, scream-filled moments raise the heartbeat as kids chase killers, and the killers chase kids. What's missing is a freshness of purpose, and the conviction of motive. You know, the important stuff. Apr 17, 2009 Full Review Read all reviews
