Though the film stays true to the nature of the original cartoon, the script is disappointing and not funny.

Timur, Chi, T, Samilia, Tangram and Samil M Not funny and a disappointing script, even though the animation looks good. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Pizza C One Of My Greatest Childhood Movie I Had Ever Seen Based On A 60s Cartoon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/13/24 Full Review Ciaran S Even if i never watched the original Rocky & Bullwinkle show i still find the movie to be.....average. The story & writing may be cheap but clever, The CGI on both Rocky and Bullwinkle are really clever, the acting (while spot on) can sometimes be sup-par, the cartoon effects can be a little too distracting (but not too annoying to the point that it really gets under your skin) and the jokes are more of a mix-bag on one hand there are some of the jokes are funny but are some jokes that are just well not insufferably bad just overwhelmingly dreadful, if you want something entertaining then maybe go check it out if not just find a better movie or just use it as a kid distractor but don't expect to have high expectations on this film . Overall The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle is just okay, not great but certainly not terrible either. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review Jackie S I will defend this movie till I die Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/17/23 Full Review Chad G This film is a lot worse than I remember. It captures what was great about the original and has the exact same kind of tone and sense of humor. It is hilarious at times, but overall the script sucks and the cgi is awful. I do however commend them on getting a huge wealth of stars to be in this film. It's really suprising. I still really enjoy this film despite how bad it is. In my opinion it's so bad it's good and definitely worth seeing at least once. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/15/23 Full Review StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 28 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! Roger Clarke Independent (UK) It's quite clever and quite cute, in a 10-minute-joke-stretched-into-a-feature kind of way. Rated: 2/5 Mar 26, 2024 Full Review David Germain Associated Press While the movie continually teeters on the brink of abject corniness, it never quite topples off. And it doesn't hurt to have Robert De Niro, Rene Russo and Jason Alexander camping it up as cartoon villains come to life. Jan 18, 2018 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly Rated: C- Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Philip French Observer (UK) Rocky and Bullwinkle is directed by Des McAnuff, who presumably took on this chore after the failure of his imaginative, challenging version of Ted Hughes's The Iron Giant [which he produced]. Very sad. Mar 26, 2024 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...the picture eventually segues into a frenetic and mostly kid-oriented midsection that slowly-but-surely drains one's interest... Rated: 2/4 Oct 1, 2020 Full Review Kathi Maio The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction In their natural pen and paint environment, Rocky and Bullwinkle shine. But they seem as dull as dishwater, and completely out of place, in a live action world. Hence, their Adventures never connect with viewers. Feb 26, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews
