While its not a perfect flick, AFFECTION has the goods as a bloody horror movie and a twisted sci-fi experience. Go to Full Review

Affection pulls inspiration from several genres but could have gone further into the implications and ethics of its horrific technological aspects. Go to Full Review

[The early twist] is a premise that the movie lives or dies by, but an audience will be primed for the journey through it as long as the magnetic Rothe is leading the way. Go to Full Review

However conflicted my feelings about Affection are, I am certain that it was not as good as I'd hoped it would be. Go to Full Review

Yet while Affection doesn’t necessarily tread new ground in either body horror or metaphors about gaslighting, it does explore them in a way that feels uniquely nasty. Go to Full Review

JDub 1d I liked that it told a good story without hitting hard on the gore. The opening setup definitely kept you guessing. We had questions after the movie was over because it didn't try to explain everything which was great. The end was satisfying. Good story and the scenes looked great. Worth seeing! I think it is an easy one to rewatch which I rarely feel with movies these days. See more Jeff L @RT99057638 12h I went to the movies on a whim, and when I saw this featured Jessica Rothe, I choose to see this one. I've liked Rothe in everything I've seen her in, including this putting. The girl playing the daughter was a highlight, and the actor playing the husband was effective enough. The story was interesting, but in the final analysis, I just didn't find it scary. See more love H. @horrorfan123 1d The gore was good this movie was very good and I loved it.
