Synopsis
Armenia, before peace yet after war. A well-driller is mistaken as an enemy and killed in the countryside. Back in the city, his family decides to keep his death a secret from their daughter, Claudette. They ask a soldier, Atom, to take her away before the funeral. The next morning, Claudette returns from choir practice to find no one home but Atom. He reassures Claudette that her family is awaiting her at a remote monastery. On the road together, faces and places at the brink of disappearing come into existence just as they fall away.
