      Critics Consensus

It has an interesting premise and admirable ambitions, but After.Life fails to deliver enough twists or thrills to sustain its creepy atmosphere.

Sophie B Cool concept but the main character is an idiot and we don’t get enough backstory about her. Also her boyfriend is the most awful person ever. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review jwcdood Yep, critica are right AFTER.LIFE is a bona fide waste of time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/01/24 Full Review Steve D Unravels at the resolution. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/04/23 Full Review Lana This could've been an amazing movie. It had all the things it needed. Except a happy ending. Or even at least a decent one. Nobody likes a movie where the main character can't even get the slightest justice. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/02/23 Full Review Andre G The movie was ok and had a decent storyline. Also is entertaining and makes you want to know what's going to happen but it has a dumb ending in my opinion. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jan 3, 2011 Full Review Anton Bitel Little White Lies takes its ambiguities all the way to the grave - and beyond. Sep 7, 2010 Full Review Perri Nemiroff Shockya.com Proposes a novel scenario, but bogs it down with cliche filmmaking techniques so much, you'll be hoping we all just die and go to heaven; end of story. Rated: 2/5 Aug 13, 2010 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review There’s not enough happening to call it a horror movie, not enough drama to feel emotionally engaged, and as a result, there’s little reason to care about how uninvolving the mystery proves to be. Rated: 2/4 Aug 9, 2023 Full Review Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) A horror film, also about alien pretensions, simultaneously disturbing, inexplicable and useless. [Full review in Spanish] Jul 18, 2022 Full Review Annalee Newitz io9.com Unfortunately, the movie veers in the most predicable, Saw-like direction possible just as the characters are starting to crackle with originality.
