Jan A Mar 16 Antony Starr, once again, brings a very complex character into the viewer's understanding. He is an amazing actor. As an American, I've witnessed audiences here seem to expect frame to frame explosive action whereas sometimes the more elusive development of a story is more effective... ....penetrates the heart more deeply. No, this movie is not packed with action, but rather it's charged with the main character's journey into and then out of a dark cavern. I loved this movie, not because it warmed the soul, but because of the excellent execution of a very sad story. See more 05/08/2013 drama, the slow disintegration of a man who lost sight of his small daughter for a moment and lose her forever...so sad, so dramatic, but probably the reality in some stories... See more 07/18/2011 Similar plot line to The Rabbit Hole. Solid movie. See more 07/05/2011 Very good, with Dan Broad smoldering with rage and loss. Where do these Aussies learn to act so well? Must have a Royal Shakespearean Company in Sydney. The wife (Vicky Haughton) is also XLNT. The plot is not neatly resolved like brainless American movies.
