Reviews 50% 250+ Ratings Audience Score Aftermath is a black comedy thriller about one man's enormous overreaction. Thomas Fiorini (Anthony Michael Hall) is a successful developer and an upstanding member of the community. He has it all: money, a stunning wife (Elisabeth Rohm), and their first child on the way. But the good times come to a screeching halt when Tom's lead foreman Matt (Jamie Harrold) and subcontractor Tony (Chris Penn), start to compete for top position in the company. After a physical fight with Tony, Matt mysteriously disappears and Tom, fearing the worst, fires Tony. What follows is a slippery spiral of confrontations and suspicions as Tom becomes increasingly paranoid. Step by step he moves in a direction of fear leading to meetings with a top hit man (Tony Danza) and a cast of unsavory characters. Read More Read Less

deke p Q: HOW is it that between 2012 & now, Jan 2022, there have been 5 (FIVE ! ) different movies with the same title "AFTERMATH" ? ! ! As for this one, imho, Much of it very slow, with an odd boring style, but got better near the end. The story had much promise. Much better than some of the critics say. I might try to watch it again.// NOT FUNNY Comedy. Never heardo bfo Jan 26, 2022 on the television set. SPOILER BELOW: Again, TONY DANZA looked, sounded acted Great. But, according to the script, his character was a "top Hit Man", with an arsenal of weapons. So, odd that he got punked so easily by the guy Tony he was sposed to intimidate, then surprised and killed in his own lair by invaders. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow, slower slowest. It is so slow, time lapse film shows it standing still. So slow, I slept overnight and only 2 minutes had elapsed on the film. So slow, the characters aged 20 years while the movie was being filmed. So slow, during the shooting scenes, it took a mile of film for the bullets to travel 5 feet. So slow, the entire movie can be watched in 30 second jumps and not miss anything. So slow, if it were a book, War and Peace would be a footnote. Did I mention, this movie is slooooooooow. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review troy k Decent low-budget flick, but after reading quite a few good reviews I was pretty disappointed. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Enjoyed film. Nice editing and interesting storytelling. Acting is decent, specially Tony Danza. Fun film that moved very quickly. Recommend Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazingly well made movie it will keep you wanting more .. Definitely recommend a most see .. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie has great characters mixed in with some dark humor. The smart cast of characters play well of each others actions and non actions. With one wrong turn the story has some twists to the conventional story telling we have all grown accustomed to. Would def recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times The result is a bit of a patchwork, one that's often clever, other times convoluted, but always watchable - if only to see what might happen next. Dec 4, 2014 Full Review Frank Swietek One Guy's Opinion The crime melodrama, whch its makers have dubbed a 'black comedy thriller,' has a few oddball moments but is never funny, and it certainly isn't thrilling.
