christopher c. m At the time of writing this review I have not seen any other of the franchise. I didn't even know it was a franchise. That's why smaller franchises should number their sequels, so people know which is a sequel. Especially if they never heard of it. The CG is weak, not Asylum bad. But still not great either. Maybe they should spend a tad more for practical. The sound is muffled in a few shots, not so why. The creature effects are pretty cool. As well as the action scenes. Surprisingly the acting is excellent. But this is cheese and the makers new it and took the movie seriously when it was called for, but never too seriously not to be fun. I'm guessing the bulk of the issues comes from budget. But considering the small budget I think they did wonders. This needs to become a cult classic. It's heads and shoulders above movies like "Reefer Madness". Check it out, it's a fun ride. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Fabulously camp low budget sci-fi action comedy, plenty of fun. laughs. action & alittle bit of cheesecake. you will have a good time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member It was fun. I mean i'm not sure if people were expecting avatar, but the movie should be rated on it's merits. Fun story, great cast chemistry, fast paced and the special effects were not bad. But what you really see is the cast own their characters, it never felt cheesy and the actors and the director kept it light and fun. It did not take itself as serious as a blockbuster 100 million dollar movie and should not be judged as such. If you want an enjoyable silly experience with some sci-fi thrown in, you will enjoy this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Fairly decent low budget film.
