Audience Member I bought the wrong Aladdin Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/30/23 Full Review Carlotta 4 This is a weird one and I'm not entirely sure how to rate it. I haven't read the original fable so I'm not sure if this is more or less accurate than the Disney version (though let's be fair, they're both probably really far off). But there were some interesting story aspects in this particular version. I liked the Roc's egg, I liked the tree blossoms turning into gems. It definitely felt more generically magical. But the animation is NOT amazing, and the voiced lines are... well they're really just not good at all! Some things in this film just look/sound downright silly, but those parts hit the "so bad it's good" area for me so I kind of enjoyed them anyway. At any rate I think the film is worth watching. You might like some parts or laugh at others, but it's interesting enough to pass some time. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/29/20 Full Review Read all reviews
