I can never forget that scene because its so true to life. Solid movie. And while it's certainly not in the league of his earlier effort, this is still a very enjoyable and appealing movie - if you liked LOVE, SIMON a couple years back, you are bound to find much to enjoy here. That being said, I found the film's tone a bit schizophrenic - going from a gross-out teenage sex comedy in one scene to an insightful and moving drama in the next. The three actors comprising the love triangle are all superb, particularly Weinstein, who absolutely shines in the end moments of this film and sells what could have been a mawkish and overly sentimental finale. Straight people must have made this movie because oh boy was it a train-wreck. I have wasted a good 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back on this shit show, for the love of god this is my last straw. Please can't we have one good LGBTQ+ movie that doesn't make me get hives from the second hand embarrassment.
