Audience Member Both doco's are maybe a little short. They didn't go into much depth about the actors as people and relied mainly on clips of their most famous films. Not quite in the league of the Cary Grant bio: A Class Apart. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member The William Powell documentary was interesting, although it's narrated by Michael York and NOT Kevin Kline. It's informative and interesting but it doesn't really grab you. The Myrna Loy one is equally interesting and had a lot of footage I've never seen. Lots of great images but Kathleen Turner shows up to croak through the narration. The Thin Man TV episode with Peter Lawford was pretty vile, but it at least prepares you for the fact that it's only a matter of time before an even worse remake happens. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A wonderful look into the inspirational lives of Myrna Loy and William Powell! The best chemistry for a screen couple ever!! Magnificant people :) Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member The William Powell doc is like 8 minutes long. But the Myrna Loy one is excellent, with a bunch of rare clips. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Sarah and I wish we were Nora and Nick. Finnegan, of course, would like to be Asta. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member William Powell & Myrna Loy are sheer genius and perfection in this collection of timeless classics! Original trailers, shorts & bonus dvd featuring bio's on both stars are a must have for any fan of the series! At the top of my 'If my house catches on fire list'!
