A solid crime drama. It offers up a twist from typical thug capers but overall nothing is too surprising. The film fails to make certain leaps that would have amazed and made the film stand out.

A very, gritty Russian crime epic. The title is a bit weird because its not an "alien" lmao. idk wtf was that for. But it is a very cool and slick thriller.

Not an easy film to stick with if you are looking for a thriller, rather, The Alien Girl is an introspective piece portraying the reality of gangster life in the Balkans of the 1990's.
