Audience Member The only thing that could make this movie good is if it were turned in as like, a college thesis or something. Because, unfortunately, everything about this movie is film school caliber, from the stiff acting to the unnatural dialogue. But that doesn't really matter anyway because it's impossible to buy into the premise of the movie anyway. All Alone is a thriller in only the loosest sense. Two couples decide to go camping together. But two of them are having an affair and plan to murder the other husband. The plan goes awry however when a hippy granola "living off the grid" chick witnesses the murder. There's also an opening scene that seemingly has nothing to do with anything else in the movie. So that's always nice. What can you say? It's amateur in every respect and there's nothing about it that seems to be trying for something unique or interesting. None of the characters are likable, or even really very believable, and there's so little actual plot that much of the movie is filled with conversations of characters repeating things to each other over and over. It felt like there was no effort put in past the bare minimum required to make a sellable string of moving images, roughly 90 minutes long. Nothing worth wasting your time on.
