Critics Consensus

All I See Is You hints at a number of intriguing questions with its premise, but they dissolve in a stylish yet empty psychodrama that fails to connect.

Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com By the time things shifts into hackneyed thriller contrivances, it becomes increasingly difficult to maintain interest... Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 27, 2017 Full Review David Ehrlich indieWire You might be laughing at the movie by the time you reach its go-for-broke final shot, but the look on Lively's face is enough to fulfill the idea that loving someone is not the same as needing someone. Rated: B Oct 27, 2017 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com All I See Is You seems extra-uniquely bad somehow. Rated: 1/4 Oct 27, 2017 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Despite an ending that layers on the drama and metaphor a bit more thickly than it needs to, this is a finely crafted piece of work and well worth looking out for. Rated: 4.5/5 Aug 14, 2020 Full Review Linda and Al Lerner Movies and Shakers This film is eminently passable. Oct 3, 2019 Full Review Chris Sawin Reel Rundown Nothing happens in All I See is You. The film is one life-altering procedure jammed into one ugly, bloated and cellulite-heavy existence that is otherwise similar to everybody else. Rated: 1/5 Sep 2, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Ro A Flat and boring at times. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/29/24 Full Review Clare L I like Blake Lively so that carried the film a bit and the ideas had potential, but I don’t think it was brought together well. I think it could have been refined to be a much better movie. It was a bit vague and hard to follow, and then it wasn’t explained well why neither of them confronted each other about the different things. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Darlene B I found the concept interesting, Gina finally regaining her sight you would expect happily ever after. The complications of finding sight and seeing her life and husband in an entirely different light. I really enjoyed this movie! Also thought Jason Clarke and Blake Lively Were fantastic! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review Windy Lynn W I had to break the movie into five sittings out of necessity. Blake is a favorite. The ending or last 15 minutes were very confusing, having to Google a description of it. I believed Blake's performance, but when she read the letter it did prove, kinda, what was going on. I thought the content was a little dysfunctional, and it seems to make you wonder if she would be dumb enough to follow thru with anything, or is he just a fly by night weirdo. As for the husband's story at the end, altho he was guilty, his story was ultimately sad and prophetic. I rate it a four because of Blake's effort in being in blind. She's a class act. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/07/23 Full Review Dmitry M I love this movie. It's amazing Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/23 Full Review Read all reviews
