Taken individually, each scene has interesting qualities. However, as a whole, director Jeffrey Porter fails to bring it all together. Go to Full Review

W. W May 25 This one has that indie early-2000s vibe — a little offbeat, a little dreamy, and surprisingly heartfelt. Elijah Wood plays the awkward, introspective college dropout well, and the film captures that in-between phase of trying to figure out who you are and what comes next. It’s not a big, flashy story — more of a quiet, coming-of-age journey with quirky characters and moments that feel more like snapshots than a tight narrative. Mandy Moore and Franka Potente bring very different energies, and that contrast actually adds something to the film’s charm. It drifts in places and doesn’t always know where it’s going, but that kind of works for the story it’s trying to tell. If you’re into character-driven stories with a bit of a whimsical edge, it’s worth a watch. Not a must-see, but something about it sticks with you. It aims to use quirky characters to drive the movie, but fails as they are not very memorable when all said and done.
