G t @StrikeTheSetpodcast Feb 2 Not to be confused with the 2024 slasher of the same name Brandon Giles brings us "all of my friends are dead" from 2021 the story is about a young Woman who brings her father's ashes to scatter on her old family farm. Along with her friends they gather around a campfire and share scary stories. (Is this a "are you afraid of the dark" call back?) Each story mixes comedy and horror elements. There are 4 stories in this movie and I really enjoyed Self Sacrifice and The New Guy, The timing of the comedy in these two worked really well for me. This is a low budget indie horror comedy, we are not expecting Christopher Nolan here, so….know what you are getting into. It's campy, it's fun, and it's practical.
