Tom Stourton stars in a drolly funny dark comedy of manners about social anxiety, obnoxious banter and subtly brutal class dynamics. Go to Full Review

What the film does is it walks this tightrope between being on the one hand funny and on the other hand creepy and unsettling and slightly horrifying and it's a very difficult balancing act... All My Friends Hate Me manages to keep that balance. Go to Full Review

Shares DNA with both the social dread of Ruben Östlund’s get-togethers and the leylines of Ben Wheatley. Hints of English folk horror — a pitbull tied up near a car, accusing looks at the driven grouse shoot — add to the delicious disquiet. Go to Full Review

All My Friends Hate Me is a deliciously disquieting, paranoia-fuelled social anxiety horror-comedy made even more hilarious and meaningful by how incredibly relatable it is. Go to Full Review

ALL MY FRIENDS HATE ME is a murderously funny horror-comedy where the real body count consists of the character’s relationships, friendships and, possibly, their souls. Go to Full Review

This disturbingly relatable dark British comedy/thriller does an amazing job of turning social anxiety and general awkwardness into excruciating cinematic terror, while also being very funny. Go to Full Review

Lorelei C 03/20/2022 Interesting, but not great See more V 4 @RT03622297 4d Is this what British people are like? A bunch of passive aggressive a-holes that think it's fun to terrorize and mentally manipulate their "friend" on his birthday? These people are supposed to be in their 30s, but they're acting like a bunch of high school losers. I know the filmmakers were attempting to be ironic with this film by taking all the chaos and shrugging it off as just a bunch of jokes, considering that's how their friend apparently was in college, but they are grown a people who are obviously all depressed, jaded, and/or completely mental, so it really kills the final attempt to laugh it all off as just fun and games. I mean for crying out loud, one of the friends attempted to take her life, and they just make a joke out of that too? How TF is that even remotely funny? This movie would have been a lot better if it didn't try and relabel their dark reality as a joke in the end. See more Robert Cesar Lehmann T @RT93503889 Apr 25 The final line of the film, after everything that happened, had me laughing a while afterward. I don't think everyone will get it or appreciate it. If you like a comedy that makes you think a bit, you'll like this. When that true twist hits you. Wow! See more Henna T @RT76532602 Dec 2 The ending was confusing to say the least but the movie captured my attention from the start. I thought it was the perfect balance between comedy and horror with parts of it being creepy and other parts being hilarious. I really like the protagonist and I think the ending highlighted how gaslighting works particularly when it comes to groups. I think the protagonists anxiety was supposed to be the central theme of the movie, with him questioning who he truly is. The question of are his friends bullies or is his anxiety fuelling his paranoia is something people with anxiety commonly suffer with as we can often be sensitive to criticism and hyper aware leaving us wondering if we are constantly reading into things too much or if we are aware of when people are mistreating us. I read some Reddit comments which discussed how the protagonist is actually the terrible individual who has committed horrible actions he is paranoid. I completely disagree with the shitty person comments as he appeared to want to be honest however, I think he is incredibly conscious and anxious over his past with his mistakes weighing heavily on him leading to constant rumination which meant his friends could gaslight/bully him with more success.
