victor o I'm a fan of Connie Nielsen and watched this movie because she was in it. All things considered its a good time waster, with Connie Nielsen being one of the best things about it. A young man(Jonathan Sadowski) having relationship issues meets two women in one night. One is a young woman(Sara Paxton) who is bright, pretty and sets his heart a flutter, but she's already in a relationship that seems to be stable. He is rejected but manages to get her phone number as he later meets another woman(Connie Nielsen), older but intoxicatingly beautiful and stood up. The two have a fling in which they share their interests and heartbreak, as the older woman ironically helps out with her lover's attempts with the young woman. The fling between the two ends up with some discord when the young man ends up with the young girl. The two young lovers eventually fall for each other and in what is a simple meet the parents' situation, becomes an embarrassingly awkward revelation. The young woman's mother is the older woman he had a fling with. A rollercoaster of emotional truths and lies are uncovered between not just the young man and women but also the older woman's husband. This is a story of relationships that might sound comical, which it is, but also fear of commitment and various social norms. I got to say its funny at times but its something I couldn't accept. Both lovers should have gotten to know each other better before having sex, but then what else is new? Still, I enjoyed seeing Connie Nielsen, funny as well as easy on the eyes. I'm not a fan of Jonathan Sadowski but I have seen him before in other works and he's pretty memorable. Sara Paxton plays a real person instead of the cute girl next door neighbor stories I've always seemed to find her. An okay movie.
