Audience Member Story and actor was good but the camera shots was bad, to much cuts and tilted shots Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member after about 5 minutes you realize its a B movie.Even the intense or graphic scenes are nothing .The word hokey comes to mind when describing this movie' Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Solid B war movie. An Army Ranger leads British Commandos into occupied France on a vital mission. But they're ambushed at every turn and soon suspect a traitor lurks... Saw this on Hoopla courtesy of our local library's streaming service. Moves right along, no lags. The acting is fine, the plot plausible and twisty. The combat is accurate and grisly and chaotic. The dialogue sounds right as they focus on the mission without whining or bickering. The Nazis and the French Resistance are varied from hardcore fanatics to scared kids. Costumes, weapons, vehicles look great and convey a larger scale than you'd expect. Just a good old fashioned war movie like they don't hardly make any more. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Fell asleep...cheap looking try hard film with transparent and an obvious plot. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a scattered mess of a film with a raft of undeveloped characters, unexplained plot twists, and audio editing so terrible much of the dialog was lost to the background. Special effects weren't so special, either. On the whole, not worth anyone's time- and I'm a sucker for mindless WW2 actions flicks. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite the lack of air superiority the Germans were able to kill around 100,000 more allied soldiers than German on the Western Front. Hate the Nazis but just not a realistic war movie where kill ratio is 50 to one. In some scenes the actors playing Germans almost seem to be waiting to be shot. The captain is too old as are many of the actors. Young mans war. Weapons - really the just one example, Captain carries a Garand, would have been a carbine. The war was on a massive scale, this looks like WWII was fought by squads. Low budget? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
