Set in 1973, it chronicles the funny and often poignant coming of age of 15-year-old William, an unabashed music fan who is inspired by the seminal bands of the time. If you haven't already sold your soul to rock & roll, Almost Famous should seal the deal. It’s pure pleasure. Just don’t expect the dark side. Not since A Hard Day’s Night has a movie caught the thrumming exuberance of going where the music takes you.

It was great, although I would have enjoyed it more if I was into that kind of music. I'm more 80s and 90s, and SOME 70s. 70s are too mellow for me though.

Amazing movie. One of the greatest dramedies of all time. Great writing and great characters that you just fall in love with. Could watch this on repeat and not get bored. Highly recommended.
