There were some well animated fight scenes, but there was also some poor writing and characterisation, as well as plenty of "janky" animation in between the good bits.

Perhaps the weirdest part about Altered Carbon Resleeved is its non-traditional, three-dimensional animation style that make it look like a video game you cannot interact with. Its action soars, but its story and writing fall flat.

Crappy animation. It felt like a cinematic of a video game. The characters move around like GTA III NPCs. I'm giving it 3/5 stars because of blood and broken bones. Thumbs up for violence in movies.

I love the Altered Carbon universe but this show missed the landing. The story was somewhat interesting but there were too many missing pieces that didn't make everything fit together. You felt like the show was onto something but for some reason it didn't fit together really well so it made for a disjointed story. I like the setting so I wouldn't say it is horrible but it definitely isn't a show that will be cracking any top 10 lists.

I am three episodes in, and, while I've never seen a porn parody with such high production values, there is a lot of expository dialogue. A. lot. First rule of porn parody. Show. Don't tell. Actually, that is second rule. First rule- supposed to have been titled "This Ain't Altered Carbon."
