Tony H Loved this movie! The story moves at a great pace with enough room for the humor and mutual affection to show. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/06/19 Full Review M G I did chuckle at a few moments and the characters were likable, but overall all the moments that seem like they should have been or were meant to be lighthearted and funny were just angry and depressing. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review DennisFeinstein08 A really fun, feel good type of movie... The soundtrack is a BANGER too 👌 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/02/24 Full Review Carlos A Nada especial. Me reí en varias ocasiones, pero la historia es muy repetida y predecible 100%. No la recomendaría a nadie para ver. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/24 Full Review Jeff M This enjoyable but extremely predictable romantic comedy is buoyed considerably by the likeability of its two stars and a bevy of warm supporting characters surrounding them. There is nothing here the average filmgoer can't see coming within the first 20 minutes, but it's made well and with obvious love, so one is more inclined to forgive its shortcomings. I do wish the initial breakup of the protagonists was more complex and believable - it felt like a screenwriting conceit. And there are a couple supporting characters who are all but forgotten by the end of the film. A midway subplot involving a real-life well-known personality playing himself feels way out of place and doesn't gel at all with the rest of the film. But all that being said, we come back again to Wong and especially Park, who have a genuine chemistry and elevate the proceedings considerably. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Sinéad W Love Ali Wong. This was such a good chick flick. It was funny and cute. It was shot very well. The comedic timing was good aswell. Especially between the assistant and Ali Wong. I loved the Bands music "Hello Peril". Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Aline Dolinh Bitch Media The film's funny, contemporary, and uniquely tender take on the friends-to-lovers formula is further bolstered by its cultural specificity. Mar 15, 2021 Full Review Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) I thoroughly enjoyed this perfectly lovely little romantic comedy. Oct 1, 2019 Full Review Kimber Myers The Playlist This literal LOL-filled film from sitcom showrunner Nahnatchka Khan doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does provide a genuinely sweet, truly funny film that is sure to be watched and rewatched on many Saturday afternoons on the couch in pajamas. Rated: B+ Jul 26, 2019 Full Review Kevin Bourne SHIFTER “Always Be My Maybe” is a barrier-breaking film centered around an Asian American couple. It's entertaining from start to finish and is one of the better romantic comedies we’ve seen in recent years. Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies If you’re hungry for anything deeper or more original you’re probably not going to leave satisfied. Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 19, 2022 Full Review Carolyn Hinds But Why Tho? A Geek Community It was a joy to see this side of Keanu, and I hope we get to see more of it in future films.
